Warning Signs
In order to know when to bring your vehicle in, you’ll first need to see the warning signs that tell you the car’s brakes are in need of help. The most obvious to note is if the vehicle tends to take longer to fully decelerate than normal. They’ll start with a quick test drive, if possible, to get a feel for how the brakes handle. If they notice that the issue is with the pads, then they can take off the wheels to get a more accurate view of the problem. Not only will they inspect the health of the pads, but the accompanying machinery as well. It could be a fluid leak that is the issue, and they’ll take care to find where exactly it emanates from. Replacement Process
Once they’ve pinpointed the issue, our team of experts will work to quickly replace any broken parts. Most commonly, the issue will be with the brake pads since they face wear and tear the most often. These are pushed into the rotors, and their friction is what causes the vehicle to eventually come to a halt. The calipers that house them as well as the rotors they’re pushed into can also crack or break, but that is a less common occurrence. Should any of the brake lines have sprung a leak, then they too will need to be replaced with the genuine OEM parts that we have.
